We’re BAACCKK! We are SO HAPPY to be back and online. We want to start off by saying thank you to all of our supporters who have been following us since the very beginning. We really appreciate you! We wanted to come back better than ever. More content, information, and NEW MERCH. To all of our new followers, WELCOME! We are here to answer any and all questions. These questions don't have to be vegan related, of course we welcome all the vegan things, but whatever is on your spirit. If you browse our page, you will quickly see all we have to offer. If there is anything you do NOT see, don’t hesitate to send us a DM or an email. We LOVE conversation with our Kinks! Don’t be shy!

We really wanted to take this time to reevaluate our purpose and mission. While we still seek to educate all people, especially people of color; we really wanted to shift our focus to food and our lifestyle. We want people to know that being vegan or going vegan isn't an omen. You can live a healthy, prosperous life without eating animals. We also felt like we were just all over the place with ideas and business ventures. You know how when you're doing too much it's hard to do anything well? So we decided it was best to take a step back and figure out how we wanted to move forward.

But...can we just talk Covid-19 real quick y’all? When everything first hit the fan we thought it was a joke. We still had things scheduled and really tried to live life as if everything was normal. We even had a photographer booked to come take new head shots and website photos. Then days became weeks, weeks became months and now it's June. Things are getting back to normal in NJ, but this is also not normal. I am struggling with the idea of wearing a mask through the summer in this hot humid NJ heat.

For the past couple months I've been replanning my wedding, Zooming my students and working tirelessly to post assignments, grade, and meet various deadlines. Replanning the wedding may have been the worst part in all of this, but there's not much I can do at this point. I've accepted I've been "Corona'd." Kierren, an essential employee, has been on the front lines working overnight and double shifts to try and keep up with the Joneses...or should I say the Coronas? This pandemic has changed our lives drastically. We are doing our best to work through these trying times, but we must admit, it is ROUGH! Funny thing is, when the world started to shut down, guess what was still on the shelf? VEGAN FOOD! You’d think that at a time where it is recommended to build your immune system, people would buy fruits, vegetables, etc in abundance. Not saying everyone, but we did notice when we went to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and stores of the like the vegan food was fully stocked! ALL MINE!

Anyway, we hope everybody is continuing to stay safe. Thank you for sticking with us, and enjoy the new look of our page.
